Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

We provide comprehensive home inspections and additional services to ensure a safe living environment. We follow national guidelines and regulations from nationally accredited associations.

How accurate are your reports?

Our reports are designed to be accurate the first time, ensuring you have reliable information. We hope the layout and functionality of the digital reports are easy to read and follow. We can provide printed reports if you prefer.

What is your inspection process?

We conduct thorough inspections focusing on safety and detail, delivering clear and concise reports to our clients. We will do a visual inspection of the property and base the report on visual observation. We cannot provide any repairs nor will we tell you why something is unsatisfactory or how to fix it.

We are not required to climb on roofs due to safety reasons, however, this is a case by case scenario and best judgement of the inspector. If we cannot gain roof access, we will inspect via binoculars.

Are you certified and insured?

Yes, we are fully certified and insured to legally provide home inspection services in Iowa.

How long do inspections take?

Typically, inspections take 2 to 4 hours, depending on the property's size, distance, and condition.

Do you offer follow-up services?

Yes, we provide follow-up consultations to address any questions or concerns after the inspection is completed. We will be there for you throughout your journey and just an email or call away.

Do I need to be present for the inspection?

Being present for the inspection is not required, however, you are more than welcome to join. Safety is our #1 focus, if it is not safe to enter an area, we will politely ask to wait outside the area. If we determine our safety is at risk, we will document this condition in the report and inform you as to why.

Do you obtain additional training?

Yes, like many professions, we must stay ahead of the curve. State mandates require annual ongoing education, and that is our philosophy too.

We are looking at adding additional services soon like Radon Testing, Mold Testing, Drone property inspections, and additional certifications.
